A 50-year-old Belgian man died and five others were injured during an accident near an exit of the A66 motorway in Almendralejo (Estrémaudre) in the West of Spain. The accident happened at around 7pm on Saturday. They are all from the same family, the Spanish site Hoy has reported.
The six-person vehicle’s occupants were a Belgian family, according to the civil guard. The vehicle was heading to Gijon. As well as the man’s death, a 17-year-old girl is in a critical condition. A 40-year-old woman suffered a facial injury while three boys aged 20, 18 and 6 suffered minor injuries.
