Train hits truck in Wallonia, no injuries

The train from Binche to Turnhout collided with a truck at 8:55 AM, according to Belgian media.  The truck was on the crossing at Saint-Hubert Street in Manage. The 200 passengers on board had to wait an hour before being relocated.

Traffic currently is interrupted on the line between La Louvière-Center and Manage, as well as between La Louvière Center and Braine-le-Comte. The train is expected to restart before 11AM.

It seems that the truck stopped on the tracks because of the traffic, but was unable to move in time. The train carried out emergency braking and managed to prevent any severe impact or damage.

No injuries were recorded on the scene.
