A 68 year old man from Tremelo confessed to killing his 48 year old disabled stepson on Wednesday evening. The man was remanded in custody by the investigating judge. The suspect will go before the Council Chamber on Friday, says Sarah Callewaert, the spokesman for the Louvain Prosecutor’s office. The 48 year old victim’s lifeless body was found in his house in Dupontlaan, Tremelo, on Wednesday morning. The emergency services found him dead in his bed after being alerted by a member of the victim’s family. The victim’s mother died last year, but her partner, the suspect, was also there when the victim was found.
