Local Antwerp police discovered a large cannabis plantation in a flat in the north of the city.
132 plants had already been harvested and another 92 were drying out. The flat was technically totally equipped to handle the two harvestings.
The plantation was in a bedroom, which was well insulated. No smell could be detected from outside the flat. The police had placed the flat under surveillance for quite a while before they searched it. Law enforcement was able to apprehend two suspects who were later released under conditional bail.
