The French-speaking socialist railways trade union CGSP Cheminots will hold an action on Monday at 10:00 in front of the cabinet of Federal Minister of Mobility Georges Gilkinet (Ecolo).
The union wants to raise the issue of employment and working conditions within the railways and demands “pertinent and coherent” funding, according to Belga News Agency.
The trade union also wants to discuss the state of affairs regarding recruitment. These are considered “essential” for the realisation of the public service, it says.
