Smart luggage startup Bluesmart presented this week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the world’s first smart and connected luggage. They also announced a strategic partnership with Vueling Airlines, the leading Spanish airline, to provide exclusive discounts to Vueling customers. Thanks to the partnership, Vueling clients will be among the first to discover the future of connected travel, through the Bluesmart brand and technology. The Bluesmart Carryon is an award winning connected luggage that raised more than $2,000,000 in pre orders from 8,000 backers in more than 100 countries on their crowdfunding campaign.
The product features GPS and Bluetooth enabled location tracking, a built in digital scale and locking device, battery charger, distance alerts and access to trip data.
