Belgian video technology firm EVS has secured a contract to provide key broadcasting technology for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The contract is worth several million euros, EVS, which specialises in sports broadcasts, announced in a press release on Wednesday.
The Liège-based company will supply broadcasting equipment and replay technology, among other services.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be held from 12 June to 19 July 2026 in multiple locations in the three countries, including Vancouver (Canada), Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey (Mexico), and Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle (United States).
