The game, dubbed “Match for Peace”, will serve as a warm-up for Antwerp before it starts its qualification for the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Meanwhile, for Ukrainian club Dynamo Kyiv, two-time UEFA Cup winners and forming a leading Soviet football club, the match is a warm-up for their upcoming Champions League qualifiers.

As part of the Match for Peace campaign, Dynamo Kyiv has toured Europe, facing off against famous clubs. To date, Dynamo have played Legia (Warsaw), Galatasaray (Istanbul), CFR 1908 Cluj (Cluj-Napoca), Borussia (Dortmund), Dinamo Zagreb, Basel FC, and Flora (Tallinn).

Dynamo is in great form, having won five friendly matches and drawing the other two.

The charity matches help raise money for Ukrainians affected by the ongoing war in the country, to give food and accommodation to refugees, purchase clothing and footwear, as well as medicine, financial assistance, and other humanitarian assistance.
