Union fall short

Union Saint-Gilloise had a tough weekend after their first leg win against Glasgow Rangers in the Champions League. On Saturday, they were thrashed 3-0 at Mechelen.

The Flemish side are proving to be Union’s bogey fixture, with Mechelen having beaten them in the previous encounter last season.

Union currently sit 11th in the league, with the team already having one eye on the return game with Rangers on Tuesday.
