As winter poses a problem for those wanting to remain physically active, there are still sports one can do indoors to stay fit towards the end of the year.

At this time of year, we tend to enter a form of hibernation and want to stay warm at home. However, for those who want to remain active at this time, the confines of the inside present a certain set of challenges., so here are five indoor sports than one can do to stay fit.

Dance

Dancing, for some people, is more than an activity, it's a passion. Dancing in the evening with friends, taking dance lessons, whether alone or with a partner, can be expressive and hugely enjoyable. You can also just enjoy dancing at home, following the rhythm of the music or following online tutorials. In any case, dancing allows you to give your heart a workout and improve your balance.

You simply need to get a mat and then you can settle down. Little by little, you will begin to practice different postures and adopt different breathing techniques. Yoga is an excellent sport for relieving stress and improving flexibility. So, do yoga and rediscover the body and energy of your younger years while easing your mind.

Le Hiit (High Intensity Interval Training)

This is a sport for experienced athletes. Indeed, if you are just starting out or if you have not done sports for years, it would be better not to start with this sport right away. Hiit is actually a fitness practice that allows you to push your limits. It involves repeating intense efforts over a short period of time. This technique is used to gain or maintain muscle mass while melting fat. The advantage of this type of sport? A session lasts on average between ten and thirty minutes.
