A bus carrying around 50 people has gone off a motorway and overturned in Germany, injuring 29 people and seriously injuring six, RTL Info reports. There are several Belgians among the injured.
The accident occurred on Friday morning, involving a bus travelling on the A2 motorway near the German city of Magdeburg.
The bus, which was carrying 54 people, veered off the road, overturned, and came to a rest on its roof in a ditch, local police said. Dozens of passengers sustained minor injuries.
According to the German press agency DPA, the travellers came from Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, and Belgium, among others.
German newspaper Die Welt stated that the bus was en route from Warsaw to Belgium.
