A toddler has survived a fall from the 15th floor of a residential building in the United States, US broadcaster ABC reports.
The two-year-old fell on Thursday. According to emergency services in Montgomery County, Maryland, he likely survived due to shrubs that cushioned his fall.
The child’s young age may have also been a factor. “If he had been heavier, he would never have survived,” a spokesman for the emergency services said.
The toddler is suffering from “traumatic” injuries and has been hospitalised.
