Dance festival Tomorrowland will make its debut in China this fall with the indoor spectacle 'The Magic of Tomorrowland'.
In the heart of Shanghai, Tomorrowland wants to offer an "immersive experience" that combines its own imaginative productions and well-known TML DJs with new technologies.
'The Magic of Tomorrowland', which was presented in China on Thursday, is somewhat reminiscent of 'Unity' in the announcement – the event that Tomorrowland is also co-organising this fall in Sphere in Las Vegas. The expected attendance is also said to be similar.
The one-day event will take place on 22 November in the Hero Dome in Bund, the famous Shanghai riverside district. The detailed poster will be announced later, but Tomorrowland said that fans can already expect the Chinese debut of various world-famous DJs, a mix of genres and continents, and a "fully immersive stage experience" with high-tech visuals and storytelling.
The event is a collaboration between Tomorrowland, Hero Esports, INS Land and Budweiser.
It also fits into the long-term agreement between Tomorrowland and entertainment group INS to introduce Chinese artists to the rest of the world on the one hand and to bring international artists from the Tomorrowland pool to Chinese stages on the other.
