One person died and many others were injured when a train and an agricultural vehicle collided in Denmark, police said on Friday.
Two of the injured were taken to hospital by rescue helicopter.
According to Danish news agency Ritzau, the accident took place in Tinglev, a locality in the municipality of Aabenraa in the south of Denmark.
The collision, which, police said, took place at a level crossing without barriers, caused the train to derail. There were about 95 people on board, including a group of schoolchildren. However, none are believed to be seriously injured, according to TV2.
Emergency services arrived at the scene in large numbers. Search dogs and drones were also deployed.
Train services between Tinglev and Sonderburg will remain suspended on Friday evening and Saturday, the Danish railways announced on X.
