Roberto Martinez finally revealed a list of 28, and not 23 players, due to medical communications received from his staff.
The situation of four players in particular will be under surveillance. “It is not worrying, but something that we must manage well with our medical department,’’ indicated Martinez.

“Thomas Vermaelen comes back from injury. He is recuperating, and we hope he will be involved in the last preparation match. Jordan Lukaku is working in a specific way since the March meeting. We must be cautious. We had a fright for Michy Batshuayi. He is recovering well and is working in a positive way. Romelu Lukaku was available for the final match of his club, but only for the last twenty minutes. An evaluation must be made to determine when he will be 100% available.
