The organisers of the I Love Science Festival announced on Tuesday that the first such festival will take place, from April 27th to April 29th, on the Brussels Tour et Taxis site.
The purpose is to raise the general public’s awareness of science and technology, through educational and play activities, so that they may learn through having fun.

From the creation of a drone to the handling of a Formula 1 driving simulator, via the discovery of new soft mobility devices, this event with an educational nature will literally plunge the visitor into science and new technologies in all of their respective forms.

The I Love Science Festival is equally the fruit of a collaboration with Brussels organisations including Bruxelles Environnement and Bozar, which will organise several activities around the confluence between arts and sciences.

The organisers also say that one part will be devoted to ecological responsability, a multitude of scientific advances enabling the improvement of people’s daily lives, and ensuring a greener future.

The event is an initiative by the Secretary of State of State for Scientific Research, Fadila Laanan, visit.brussels and Innoviris. Fadila Laana, cited in a communiqué, asserted, “I am convinced that the I Love Science Festival will contribute to motivating youngsters to turn towards studies and careers linked to science and technology.”
