Search operations have been launched on the Scheldt quays in Antwerp to locate Dean De Graef, who has been missing for around ten days.
Authorities reported on Wednesday that the 29-year-old man disappeared after a night out at a nightclub.
The police fear he might have fallen into the river. Dean De Graef was last seen around 14:30 between Saturday, 5 October and Sunday, 6 October at Club Lima, a nightclub on Rijnkaai in Antwerp.
The following Monday, the Antwerp Public Prosecutor’s Office and police issued a search alert.
Dean De Graef is slim, with blonde dreadlocks typically worn in a bun. On the day of his disappearance, he was wearing a black sweater, black ripped skinny jeans, and DC brand skate shoes.
The dedicated missing persons unit has since conducted several search operations, but without success. The investigation continues.
