It is once again possible to reach Saint-Luc University Hospital in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert by phone.
The hospital announced on Friday that issues caused by the IT outage are currently being resolved. Operations at the hospital had been severely disrupted since Tuesday evening due to the outage.
Consultations, surgical procedures, and examinations scheduled for Wednesday had to be postponed. Activities began to gradually resume on Wednesday evening.
“The situation is now back to normal,” said Sylvain Bayet, the hospital’s spokesperson, on Friday. “Surgeries, emergencies, and tests resumed on Thursday. The phone system has been operational since Friday morning, so it is now possible to contact the hospital using the usual numbers,” he added. During the outage, the hospital had set up a separate phone number for patient inquiries.
“Only a few specific applications are still not fully operational, but they will be soon,” the spokesperson said.
