The Group of Ten, comprising the leading officials from employer organisations and unions, has agreed to end the RCC (formerly early retirement) scheme, reported L’Echo and De Morgen on Saturday.
The Arizona government plans to replace this system and phase out part-time work schemes in its government agreement. These schemes are governed by collective labour agreements (CLA) that remain in force until June. Unions and employers have agreed to ensure the legal security of these CLAs and respect the interprofessional agreement (IPA) behind them.
In return, employers expect the Minister of Employment, David Clarinval, to instruct his administration to enforce regulations on the CLA 90 bonuses.
Some employers believe that the Federal Public Service Employment is overly stringent about the distribution of these salary bonuses.
Both parties also discussed the Federal Learning Account (FLA), a computer tool disliked by employers that the government agreement plans to eliminate.
Clarinval welcomed the agreement but did not share details of its content. The minister now seeks further consultations with social partners and within the government.
