A severe fire broke out in an apartment in the Kiel district of Antwerp on Tuesday evening.
Firefighters from the Antwerp Fire Department evacuated the entire six-storey building, which housed around 40 residents.
There were no injuries reported.
The apartment where the fire started was completely destroyed. It is suspected that the fire was caused by an overturned candle.
A neighbouring apartment also suffered significant damage.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze upon arrival, preventing further spread.
