A shooting was reported on Place Bethléem in the Brussels municipality of Saint-Gilles in the early hours of Thursday.
"Our teams were called to Place Bethléem at around 01:45 to respond to shots fired," said the Brussels-Midi police zone.
According to the authorities, no one was injured.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
