On Thursday afternoon, an armed robbery occurred at a jewellery store, located in the Bascule gallery, on Chaussée de Waterloo in the Brussels municipality of Uccle.
This information has been confirmed to Belga News Agency by a police spokesperson in the Marlow area (Uccle, Watermael-Boitsfort and Auderghem), Laurent Masset.
The perpetrators smashed a jewellery display case but did not use their firearms. No one was injured. Employees must still complete the inventory of stolen items to assess the total value of the loot.
