Saturday will bring changeable skies and frequent showers, especially in western Belgium, where some may turn thundery, with temperatures reaching 8°C to 14°C, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute.

Through the day, sunny spells will alternate with heavily overcast periods, and showers are expected across the country. The west will see the most frequent and most active showers.

On Saturday evening, a few showers will linger. Overnight, conditions will turn dry again in most areas, with broad clear spells developing, although the far west may still see some showers. Minimum temperatures will range from 2°C to 10°C.

Sunday will be partly cloudy in the west, where the coast faces a risk of showers for much of the day. In the east, skies will remain heavily overcast, with that cloud spreading gradually towards the centre and west.
