Muslims throughout Belgium will begin celebrating Eid al-Adha today and will continue until Wednesday, July 13th.
On Saturday, those practicing their islamic faith will commence their celebrations of Eid al-Adha.
Eid is one of two major Islamic holidays, and follows Ramadan.

One of the feast's traditions is to slaughter an animal and divide the meat into three equal parts for family, relatives and friends, and poor people.
This tradition came under fire recently as a ban on ritual slaughters was proposed in the Brussels Parliament, but was rejected by lawmakers.
