Brussels shared bike service Villo! is unavailable on Wednesday, the company reported on its Facebook page. Following problems with its telecom operator, the docking stations for the bikes are not currently functional.
“If you have left a bike at one of these stations, you will not be able to rent a second until the problem has been resolved,” the company warned. “This is a problem beyond our control and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
The Brussels company, a subsidiary of JCDecaux, ensures that it is in contact with the telecom operator to resolve the problem “as soon as possible.” It advises customers to check back on its Facebook page for updates.
