The deadline for submitting tax returns online has been pushed back to July 15 at midnight, Belgium's federal financial authority said Tuesday.
The new deadline, confirmed by the FPS Finance on Twitter, was set after technical issues to log on to the platform were reported.
"In order to give [citizens] the opportunity to submit their tax returns on time, we extend the deadline until July 15 2019," the federal office said on Twitter.
With the deadline originally set for July 11, over 2 million users had already filed their taxes on the Tax-on-web platform at the start of the week.
