The Brussels Urban Sessions are relocating to the Cinquantenaire Park for their fourth edition, scheduled to take place from 4 to 6 July.
Alongside the international BMX Freestyle competition featuring top athletes of the discipline, other sports such as 3×3 basketball, parkour, and skateboarding will also be featured.
Concerts, DJ sets, and street art exhibitions are set to enhance Belgium’s largest urban sports event.
The move has been warmly welcomed by the City of Brussels, which believes the event will enhance Brussels’ reputation as a sports capital, according to the organisers.
Previously, the event was held at the Crossing Stadium in Schaerbeek, a district of Brussels.
On Friday, 4 July, following the qualifications and the Best Trick segment of the UCI BMX Freestyle competition, the festival will host an Open Air evening with DJ sets by Romain Kuntz and Calumny.
In 2024, nearly 31,000 spectators attended the event.
