According to the Federal Planning Bureau's most recent monthly projection, the pivot index is expected to overrun in August and December.

The Bureau's forecast, published on Tuesday, of an overrun in August, means that they were off by a month in their June projection, where they expected it to be exceeded in September.

The 'health index' is also expected to reach 8% in 2022 and 4.6% in 2023, up from 2.01% in 2021 and 0.99% in 2020.

In other words, meaning that in less than a year and a half, public benefits and wages will have increased six times by 2%.

The Planning Bureau estimated inflation at 8.1% a month ago. The inflation rate for next year is expected to be at 4.4%, up from the previous forecast of 3.5%.

The index pivot was last exceeded in April and the Bureau expects it to do so again in March 2023.
