The weekend promises excellent weather, with temperatures reaching up to 28°C on Saturday and Sunday and clear skies, according to the latest report from the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI).
Saturday will start with high clouds, and there is a chance of mist or fog banks in the northern parts. The day will become mostly sunny from the west, with clear spells and cumulus clouds alternating in low and medium regions of Belgium. Temperatures will be around 21°C at the coast, 25°C in central areas, and up to 28°C in Belgian Lorraine, with initially light and variable winds becoming moderate from the west.
The sky will turn mostly clear in the evening and overnight from Saturday to Sunday, with minimum temperatures ranging from 8°C to 16°C under a light to moderate west to northwest wind, becoming variable later.
On Sunday, the sun will dominate once more, with possible cumulus clouds developing during the day. Maximum temperatures will range between 21°C and 28°C.
The weather will remain similar at the start of next week, with sunny conditions and temperatures between 24°C and 30°C on Monday. It will become increasingly warm, reaching up to 33°C on Tuesday and Wednesday, before a chance of thunderstorms on Thursday will lower temperatures to 30°C.
