Several drug dealers were arrested at the Mons station district in just three days, the Mons-Quévy police reported on Thursday.
The arrests enabled the police to seize cannabis, cocaine and heroin. Several dealers have also been referred to the courts.
On Friday evening, teams from the proactive special support group (GASP) and the Mons police dog unit caught two drug dealers in the act of making a transaction. Fourteen balls of cannabis resin and four of cocaine were seized. Two immediate arrests were made.
On Tuesday, two suspects were arrested in possession of two balls of heroin.
On Wednesday, a dealer was caught red-handed with ten grams of cannabis and arrested. Four users were also fined.
No further legal action has been announced.
