Belgian designer Pieter Mulier takes lead at Versace

Belgian designer Pieter Mulier has been appointed artistic director of Italian brand Versace, days after he departed from the fashion house Alaïa, Prada announced on Thursday.

Prada, which recently acquired the Italian brand, expressed confidence in Mulier’s ability to unlock the full potential of Versace.

Executive chairman of Versace and Prada's marketing director, Lorenzo Bertelli, emphasised the importance of engaging with Versace's strong legacy in a press statement.
