Rock Werchter has announced the first big name for next year's edition with Stromae as the first headliner.
The Belgian singer will return to the festival after performing on the Werchter meadow earlier this year during the one-day festival Werchter Boutique.
His performance was particularly highly praised with talk of a "perfectly executed show" and applause that continued minutes after closing.
Stromae will play at the festival on the opening day of Rock Werchter, on Thursday 29 June.

Rock Werchter 2023 will take place from Thursday 29 June to Sunday 2 July. Ticket sales start at 10:00 on Saturday 29 October. Pre-registration, good for earlier access to festival tickets, can be done from Wednesday.
