Jazz and folk music festival Brosella announces full line up

The organisers of the Brosella Festival announced the latest names of the artists and bands that will take the stage at the music festival on Monday. The festival will be held on 8 and 9 July at Osseghem Park in Brussels.

Among the latest batch of names, Adja, Wajdi Riahi trio, Echoes of Zoo, Overseas, Hiraeth, Bl!ndman and Toasaves complete the line-up.

“These Belgian bands, along with 10 international acts, will offer a rich array of today’s jazz and folk music scenes,” say the organisers.

On the first day of the festival, the Belgian band Toasaves, Hiraeth and Echoes of Zoo are expected to perform. The Unthanks, San Salvador, Sam Amidon, Trio Da Kali & North Sea String Quartet and Alune Wade will perform on Saturday as well. “Saturday’s programme will show us that there is not just one type of world music, but many variations,” the organisers stress.

As for Sunday’s line-up, it will present a sample of different jazz with Adja, Wajdi Riahi trio, Overseas, Bl!ndman plays Moondog among others. There will be international groups such as Fred Hersch trio, Binker Golding Quintet, Camilla George or Yazz Ahmed performing Sunday as well.
