TEC services have been severely disrupted following the murder of a bus driver at the Verlaine depot on Thursday morning, a spokesperson for the public transport company told Belga.
The lifeless body of a driver, murdered on his way to work, was discovered on Thursday morning at the Verlaine TEC depot in the province of Liège.
"All services departing from Verlaine have been suspended. While we will leave it to the judicial authorities to comment on the facts, I can tell you that staff are very emotional. In addition to the psychological assistance provided by the police, we are putting in place local team supervision and communication for all our staff," explained Stéphane Thiery, spokesperson for TEC.
