An explosion damaged the entrance of a house in the Brussels municipality of Molenbeek-Saint-Jean overnight, the Brussels Fire Brigade has confirmed.
From Wednesday night to Thursday, firefighters were called to Rue Piers shortly before midnight after reports of an explosion and a fire.
When crews arrived, they found no active blaze, but the property's front door had sustained significant damage, and several windows had been shattered.
No one was injured in the incident.
