A person was shot dead in a village in Namur province during the night from Wednesday to Thursday.
Namur's Public Prosecutor's office confirmed on Friday that the shooting occurred in the village of Somzée, in the municipality of Walcourt.
According to L'Avenir, it took place on Grand'Rue and might be linked to a road traffic accident that occurred on the same street earlier that night.
The Prosecutor said the case is now under the supervision of an investigating judge.
