On Thursday afternoon, an armed robbery occurred at a jewellery store, located in the Bascule gallery, on Chaussée de Waterloo in the Brussels municipality of Uccle.
This information has been confirmed to Belga News Agency by a police spokesperson in the Marlow area (Uccle, Watermael-Boitsfort and Auderghem), Laurent Masset.
The perpetrators smashed a jewellery display case but did not use their firearms. No one was injured. Employees must still complete the inventory of stolen items to assess the total value of the loot.

An investigation is currently ongoing to identify both offenders.
Images from surveillance cameras and material clues will be utilised to try and find them.
