Coffee company Jacobs Douwe Egberts will distribute 1,000 free coffee machines to students in Brussels on Wednesday, as part of a multi-city promotion campaign.

The company will give Senseo brand coffee machines to students who present a valid student ID at the Gare Maritime in Brussels’ Tour & Taxis area.

The giveaway of free coffee machines will start at 10:00 and will continue until 18:00, or until stock is entirely depleted.

In total, the company is distributing 5,000 of the machines across the country. It launched its first giveaway in Antwerp on 4 October. After the Brussels event, further giveaways will take place in Louvain-la-Neuve (13 October), and Leuven (17-18 October). The promotion is limited to one unit per person.

The campaign is a drive to promote its Senseo range of coffee pods for its machines, which will also be on offer at the event. For more information, visit the Senseo website here.
