The Red Flames fan village was officially opened on Sunday in Leuven, a few hours before Belgium’s first game in the UEFA Women's Euro Football Championships 2022

Installed on the Martelarenplein in front of Leuven station, the 'Flames Village' allows you to follow the Red Flames matches at the Euros live on a giant screen, starting with the showdown against Iceland on Sunday at 18:00 in Manchester.

Entertainment is also planned on the days of the Red Flames matches. In addition to the broadcast of Belgium matches, fans will also be able to “try out different football attractions”.

The Red Flames Fan Village was inaugurated on Sunday noon by the Mayor of Leuven Mohamed Ridouani and the Councillor for Sports and Commerce Johan Geylens.

“The Red Flames and Leuven have a special bond,” says Mohamed Ridouani.

They train and play their home matches at Den Dreef, the home stadium of Oud-Heverlee Leuven. It was therefore logical that the Fan Village ended up here in Leuven”.
