A serious coach accident on a German motorway injured 22 people on Thursday night.
This occurred on the A44 motorway in North Rhine-Westphalia, according to a police spokesperson. The circumstances of the accident have yet to be determined.
Most of the passengers, around 60, were students returning from a school trip in England. The motorway will remain closed for an extended period due to the accident.
This follows a severe collision this week involving a FlixBus near Leipzig, Eastern Germany, in which four people died and 29 were injured.
