The body of a 63-year-old man was found in the early hours of Thursday morning in Saint-Nicolas in Flanders, according to the East Flanders public prosecutor’s office.
The public prosecutor has launched an investigation into the circumstances of the death.
The discovery was made on Koningin Astridlaan. Officials including the examining magistrate, the public prosecutor, and forensic experts attended the scene.
A forensic pathologist has been appointed to assist in determining the cause of death.
