A car was set alight overnight near Anderlecht town hall, according to Brussels firefighters.
Emergency services were alerted at around 4.05 am on Monday that a vehicle was engulfed in flames in Rue Van Lint.
The intense heat caused a window of a nearby house to shatter. Firefighters extinguished the blaze and secured the area.
