A small explosion damaged the front door of a building in Ixelles shortly after midnight on Monday, according to the Brussels Fire Brigade.
The blast happened on Rue Caroly at about 00:20 on Monday.
When emergency services arrived, they found no fire at the scene.
The damage was limited to the entrance door of the building, according to Brussels Fire Brigade spokesperson Walter Derieuw.
The cause of the explosion has not yet been determined.
The exact circumstances are under investigation.
