A 30-year-old man has been killed in a stabbing in Brussels. The Brussels Public Prosecutor's Office has opened a judicial investigation into the incident and arrested a 35-year-old woman.
Just after 02:00 on Thursday morning, police were called to an incident in a flat along Boulevard du Midi in Brussels. At the scene, police found the body of a 30-year-old man. The victim had been stabbed to death.
"A 35-year-old woman was arrested at the scene," said Martin François of the Brussels Public Prosecutor's Office. "We appointed a medical examiner, as well as the federal police's technical investigation unit. An investigating judge was requisitioned for manslaughter."

The suspect will later be brought before the investigating judge with a view to her arrest. "The Brussels Public Prosecutor's Office will provide further information on the judicial follow-up of the case," François said.
As the investigation is ongoing, the Public Prosecutor's Office will not comment further.
