After a foggy start in the north of the country, Belgium is set to enjoy sunny weather with temperatures ranging from 14°C to 21°C, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM).

Morning fog in the northern regions has prompted a yellow warning for East Flanders, West Flanders, Antwerp, and Limburg provinces. Visibility in these areas could drop below 200 metres.

The fog and low clouds are expected to lift by mid-morning, giving way to clearer, sunnier skies across the country.

In other regions, the day began with bright and sunny weather. High-altitude clouds will move in from France during the afternoon, but sunshine will largely dominate.

Temperatures will range from 14°C near the coast to 19°C in Flanders and central Belgium, peaking at 21°C in Gaume. Winds will remain light and variable but shift toward a northerly direction along the coast.
