Gunfire was reported in Anderlecht on Sunday morning, according to the Midi police zone, with no injuries recorded.
Police stated they were alerted around 06:00 after shots were heard on Avenue Clémenceau.
Officers found several shell casings at the scene but did not locate any injured individuals.
An investigation has been launched to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
