Train services were halted between Froyennes (Tournai) and Mouscron on Thursday morning following an accident at a level crossing in Estaimpuis.
According to Infrabel spokesperson Jessica Nibelle, a train collided with a car, causing the death of the car’s driver.
The incident occurred around 07:05 on the Ath-Courtrai route.
