Lifeless body of missing man found in Meuse river

On Wednesday, the body of a man who had gone missing on Sunday was pulled out of the Meuse River in the Walloon municipality of Jambes.

On Sunday afternoon, a 24 year-old man was reported missing in Jambes, a town in the Namur province, near the restaurant 'La Plage d'Amée.'

Searches were fruitless until this morning when the lifeless body was discovered in the Meuse River.

The local fire department subsequently arrived with a boat and divers to recover the body.

For the time being, no additional information has been provided.
