Flemish public transport company De Lijn is seeking to hire 800 drivers and 100 technicians this year.
To achieve this, De Lijn has announced plans to host a total of 14 job fairs, four of which are dedicated to drivers and ten to technicians.
These career events allow candidates to explore what it means to work for De Lijn and familiarise themselves with the working conditions, driving license requirements and even take part in a test drive, according to a press release.
The recruitment campaign will kick off as part of the closing event for Flanders Technology & Innovation, scheduled for the coming weekend at Antwerp's Sportpaleis.
