A fire broke out in a squat in the Brussels municipality of Berchem-Sainte-Agathe on Thursday morning, according to Brussels Fire Brigade. There were no injuries but it caused considerable damage to the building.
The blaze broke out at around 06:30 in a three-storey building on Avenue Charles Quint.
Upon arrival, firefighters found multiple sources of the fire, but the building was unoccupied.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the flames, but the property is heavily damaged.
The exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
